1958 geboren in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomes Gebiet, China
Gegenwärtig hat Weixin Xu die Stelle eines Vizedekans und Professors an der School of Arts der Renmin Universität in China inne. Ebenfalls ist er Mitglieder im Vorstand der China Oil Painting Association
